We have just arrived in Hintertux, Austria after a day’s driving over from the UK. We are here in Tux for 2 weeks training on the glacier hoping to build on our training programme from New Zealand. We are thankful to THULE who supported us with vital equipment for our journey out here including tyres, snow chains and the brilliant ski roof rack. We would also like to thank Salomon for our day bags and new GS ski we hope to try out this week! We have both skied in tux for many years and love staying here in the Hotel Kössler so are looking forward to the coming two weeks with BDST. JC x

Jade’s introduction to competition skiing came in the Summer of 2007 when she took part in the British Disabled Ski Team’s squad trial at the Manchester Chill Factore. By the end of the weekend she was offered a place on the BDST development squad and then attended one or two training camps every year whilst still at school.
